Funny Times At Forcebook High

This week, Dave is missing! Not to worry, Adam and Leah are still around. Also, a special guest author on the show this week. Anthony Donnelly is on the show to talk about a collection of short stories he's written called "Fishbowl Fridays".

Adam Leah and David still managed to pull off a Most Listened To This Week, even with the absence of David. What did Adam and Leah do? Why, they called him, of course! Unfortunately for Dave, he didn't answer the phone! What are co-hosts to do? Simple. Choose a song from Moulin Rouge!

Leah's Pick: King Without A Crown- Matisyahu
Adam's Pick: Westchester Faire- Tim Weisberg
David's Pick: Someday I'll Fly Away- Performed by Nicole Kidman

Anthony was asked the usual questions about himself that all Blissers need to know:
Favourite Album- Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band- The Beatles
Favourite Book- Money- Martin Amose
Favourite Band- The Rolling Stones AND The Beatles
Favourite Song- Sympathy For The Devil -The Rolling Stones

Anthony could not come up with a favourite death scene in a movie, but Adam and Leah certainly could:

The gang plus one then begin to talk about Mr. Donnelly's book. The writing process, the "getting it published" process, and finally, about the book itself. Adam even reads his favourite excerpt from it! Not to mention Leah doing the same. Check out his book!

Adam was quite the... eccentric, this week, doing playful doodles for the duration of the episode, and also calling out the author of a novel for being RACIST! That's right. RACIST! Mr. Donnelly says the word "Gyp'd", which, as everyone should know, stems from the phrase "To be cheated by a gypsy". This leads to a discussion of common terms used in every day language that are quite racist. Check them out here!

Video Of The Week Time!

Whaaaaaaaaat? VIDEO OF THE WEEK X2???

Leah spoke at length about "chick flicks", which she claims is a quite sexist statement, although she was the only one to use it...

Hmm. So it looks like JK Rowling did a little storytelling about her OWN story (Number 2)...

The Song For The Lovers this week was "Cinders and Smoke" by Iron And Wine.

And finally, you can download this whole episode (or stream it) here!

... who would win in a fight? Paul McCartney, or Michael Jackson?
